Abstract

The reader is offered a translation of a fragment from the key philosophical work of the Jewish philosopher-Aristotelian rabbi Levi ben Gerson (Ralbag) (1288–
1344). As the most famous follower of Maimonides, Ralbag in his opus magnum “Wars of the Lord” aims to examine in detail the issues that, in his opinion, have not received adequate attention from Rambam. These questions include, in particular, the question of miracles, discussed by Gersonides in the second part of the sixth book “Wars
of the Lord”. The text is published in Russian for the first time.
